ljubljana was super laid back and relaxed, and absolutely tiny! but full of beautiful old colourful houses, cobbled streets, riverside cafes and lovely old churches and cathedrals. the view from the castle was wonderful and you could see out of the city to the snow covered alps! lake bled was gorgeous too, despite being pretty cloudy when we arrived, it’s still an incredibly calm and beautiful place surrounded by some seriously lovely countryside! it’s such a pretty little city, and was perfect for the relaxing break we were after.
